My art is original, mostly inspired by photographs I take with my point-and-shoot camera. The work can be painstaking, layer after transparent layers, like working with oil paint or watercolors. I frequently begin my workday by playing with photographs to loosen up. I make hundreds of these enhanced photos, most are discarded. But some are keepers. The Pixels section of my portfolio is a collection of this best work.
Los Arcos Sunset highlights the jungle mountains that surround the Bahia de Banderas. The mountains protect the Bay from severe weather, usually deflecting hurricanes that approach from the Pacific.
